When is instant "news" too much?

I was so sick of hearing about Alec Baldwin the other day I was ready to e-mail CNN that they were hurting the girl and no one else and l for one didn't want to watch their channel Then they started reading e-mail anti the clip and then all of a sudden they stopped showing it. So maybe thats the answer.
