Gall Stones. How long does it take to recover after surgery!!?

I just found out I have Gall stones and I have to meet with the surgery next week to schedule a time for the surgery! I'm so afraid of it... Does anyone know from experience! I also just had a baby and also have an one year old.. I just want to know how did yours go surgery-and recovery..
