Well, whatever you have is related to your smoking. This does not sound like infectious mononucleosis at al, you would have pharyngitis and swollen adenoids and lymph nodes if you did have it. Also, a burning upper respiratory tract on the right or left side is not a symptom at all, perhaps you have acid reflux.
