I can't decide, Tripod or Lens?

Definitely the tripod. However, you might want to check out the Manto 055XPROB instead. The 18-105mm VR is wide enough in normal cases, and you might want to get a 75-300 zoom lens instead of a 12-24mm wide angle. With the two lenses, 18-105mm and 75-300, thats pretty much all you need until you upgrade to a higher end body. Also, you might want to consider getting a external flash gun if you don't have one yet.
