Besides the headstones and memorials what symbolism have you noticed in cemeteries?

Many items in cemeteries are left there by family as a traditional thing to do . What do you see in addition to the headstones and foot stones ? Roses, seashells, cedar trees all have meaning in cemeteries. What do you see besides the inscriptions on the monuments / head and foot stones ? I found a iron baby bed half buried and serving as a fence around a child's grave,
