Vista system recovery fails...pls help..?

hello..i am using compaq presario c700 based on vista. i have deleted system recovery files mistakenly and now i need to recover my sys to the original factory setting becoz lot of probs there. i am not able to do system restore, when i choose this option my system just merely restarts and recovery is not taken palce. the same happens when i press F11 and try system recovery. I had formated my D drive and i remember there were some system recovery files...is there any option to sort this out? Can anyone help me?..thnx
