Confederate flag question?

what do i need to tell someone that tell me im racist because i have a picture of the confederate flag on my binder. i love the southern states and the confederate flag and dont think represents slavery and racist things. so my question is what should i say when someone tells me im racist because i have confederate flag on my binder and like it. thanks for answering!!
