Can someone explain why Republicans were so critical of Democrats who did in fact pay their Taxes in the end?

WOW!!! It appears that both the Republicans and Democrats are running a match of wits with their corruption! Who holds the highest statistics of corrupt government? Hmmmmm LOL!!!
