Can cats get colds like people do?

They can get colds that are only ped from cat to cat not from cat to human. They sneeze A LOT, have a runny nose and watery eyes. Also if it is only a comic it is meant to be funny and not to be taken seriously so you can make the cat do anything. Like Garfield. Cats favourite foods are not lasagne and cats normally don't hate mondays but that is what makes it funnier!
