Attending Vans Warped Tour '09?

I really wanna go to Vans Warped Tour '09. I read on the website, that, in my area, 65 bands are playing... I find this hard to believe... Even if every band played on 1 song, giving the fans a total of 65 songs, why would it be worth going? Each band only playing 1 song, would be odd. I love music, so 65 songs sound nice anytime, but 65 songs, from 65 different bands, one right after another sounds a little weird to me.. idk. I've nvr been to Vans Warped Tour, but it's something a friend of mine, and I really want to do. Lemme know if my info is right, and maybe explain a little about how this thing works... thx
